Commercial sites pay for energy and often for peak demand. A C&I solar-plus-storage system cuts both: solar covers daytime use, the battery shaves the peaks and carries solar into the evening, and critical lines stay on during outages.
Typical configurations
Earlier projects included a 50 kW / 100 kWh C&I system and a customised 50–100 kW hybrid system with a 200 kWh lithium battery. Every site is sized from its own load data:
- Load profile — ideally 12 months of 15-minute or hourly data.
- Tariff — energy, demand and time-of-use charges decide the battery strategy.
- Electrical capacity — transformer, switchboard and protection settings.
- Space and safety — cabinet location, fire distances and access.

How long is the payback?
It depends on tariffs, demand charges and outage costs at your site. We calculate it from your bills and load data rather than quote a generic figure.
Can the system keep running during a grid outage?
Yes, if it is designed for backup: the critical loads are separated, and the PCS forms a local grid while the utility is down. This is decided at design stage.
What does a C&I storage quotation include?
The equipment list, single-line diagram, cabinet layout with clearances, communication scheme, and a savings or backup estimate based on your load data. Site works and permits are listed separately with who is responsible.
How is the system monitored after installation?
The energy management system logs every cabinet and reports to an online platform. You get your own login; with your permission our engineers can access it to support troubleshooting and settings.
