Fixed Ground-Mount Solar Structure

Fixed-tilt racking that holds ground-mounted PV arrays securely for the life of the plant.

Rating
Sized per array
Versions
Steel or aluminium; pile, screw or concrete foundations

Best for: Open-land solar arrays, farms, mines and microgrid sites.

  • Designed for local wind and snow loads
  • Corrosion protection matched to the site
  • Pre-cut and pre-drilled parts
  • Tilt chosen for your latitude

A ground-mount structure has to survive decades of wind, sun and corrosion, so we design it from your site data rather than from a standard drawing.

Foundation first

The soil decides the foundation: driven piles in firm ground, ground screws where piling equipment is hard to bring in, concrete blocks or strip footings on rock or fill. Where the ground is unknown, we recommend pull-out tests before the structure is finalised.

Corrosion and climate

Coastal sites in Southeast Asia and West Africa need heavier galvanising or aluminium; desert sites need protection against abrasion and large day-night temperature swings. We state the corrosion class assumed in the design.

Layout

Tilt and row spacing balance yield against land use and shading. Maintenance aisles are left for module cleaning — important where dust settles quickly.

Common configurations

  • Steel
  • Aluminium
  • Driven pile, ground screw or concrete foundation

What we confirm before quoting

Our engineers check these points with you, so the quotation fits your site rather than a catalogue default.

  1. 1Terrain and slope
  2. 2Soil type and pull-out tests
  3. 3Wind and snow loads
  4. 4Corrosion class (coastal, desert, industrial)
  5. 5Tilt angle and maintenance aisles

Frequently asked questions

Do I need a soil investigation?

For anything beyond a small array we strongly recommend at least pull-out tests. Foundation errors are expensive to fix after installation.

Steel or aluminium?

Galvanised steel is strong and economical for most ground-mount sites; aluminium resists corrosion better near the sea and is lighter to handle. The corrosion class of the site usually decides.

Can the structure be installed without welding?

Yes. Parts are cut, drilled and labelled in the factory and bolted together on site following the assembly drawing.

What documents come with a solar equipment order?

Commercial invoice, packing list, bill of lading, the datasheet of each item and the certificates you asked for at quotation stage. Certificates of origin or inspection reports can be added when your importer needs them.

How is warranty handled for buyers outside China?

Warranty terms are written into the quotation for each product. Claims start with photos, serial numbers and monitoring data; replacement parts are shipped from China, so we recommend keeping a small spares stock on larger projects.
